The Story Behind Our Greeting Cards

For as long as I can remember, I have loved greeting cards. As a child, I saved every card I received, but the ones I treasured most were the cards that included activities or little keepsakes that made them more than just a greeting.

Years later, Don and I were inspired by a friend who created greeting cards using her own photographs. We thought about the thousands of photos we had taken during our travels and wondered if we could transform those special moments into greeting cards that people would want to keep, display, and even frame.

That idea became the beginning of our Photo and Photo Art Greeting Card collections. As I experimented with our photographs, I discovered how beautiful they could become when transformed into artistic creations, opening up a whole new world of creativity.

Then I began thinking about our grandchildren and the activity cards I had loved as a child. What if a greeting card could be both fun and meaningful? That inspiration led to our Colour Me Adventure collection, where colouring, puzzles, and learning come together to create an experience that lasts beyond the occasion.

Today, Steele Adventures combines our love of travel, photography, creativity, and family. Every card is designed with the hope that it becomes more than a greeting—it becomes a memory worth keeping.
